Going green tax breaks

During the 2010 election campaign, the Federal Government proposed a 'Tax Breaks for Green Buildings' scheme. Although this proposal is not yet law, it makes sense for businesses concerned by the prospect of rising power bills to begin planning for the scheme before going ahead with improvements to the energy efficiency of their buildings. The scheme as currently proposed has significant eligibility criteria.
