Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR)

Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR)

The two year grace period to register under the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) any interests not yet registered is about to end.

If you are leasing out valuable goods or selling on terms such as retention of title, you need to register your interest in these goods on the PPSR now at www.ppsr.gov.au.

Also registering your interest in goods for which you have not been paid, can help you to recover the debt or the goods if your customer doesn't pay or becomes insolvent.

You need to act now to register any outstanding pre-PPSR interest on the Personal Property Securities Register before the grace period ends at midnight on 31 January 2014.

Failure to do so could result in you losing the priority of your security interest.
